During her testimony, which lasted for over three agonizing hours, Wunmi provided insight into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s tragic passing. She disclosed that after Mohbad complained of discomfort, his friend Ajisegiri Ayobami, also known as DJ Bami, and a nurse left the room to attend to some errands. It was when Wunmi entered the room that she discovered Mohbad on the floor, a sight that immediately filled her with dread.
Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, Wunmi sprang into action. Since Mohbad’s car was undergoing repairs at the mechanic’s, she urgently sought help from their neighbor. A traffic jam on their way to the hospital only added to the urgency of the situation. Wunmi’s account took a somber turn when the driver touched Mohbad’s hand and found it cold.
