Nigerian actress Uche Okoye recently made a revealing statement on her Instagram story, stating that she cannot be categorized as an “understanding girlfriend.” Known for her frank and often controversial remarks, Okoye spoke on her status as a celebrity and set boundaries regarding her expectations in relationships.
Okoye expressed that she is above the “regular women” people are accustomed to, speaking her unique vibe and texture therefore she shouldn’t be approached by just any man. “Random men should stick to random women,” she stated, referring to women who are content with partners irrespective of their financial status.
She went on to justify her stance by pointing out the high cost of her lifestyle, including her hair expenses, which she claimed amount to around 750,000 Naira for a wig.
Recall that back In May 2021, Okoye had spoken about the potential of women in leadership, suggesting Nigeria could benefit from a female president. She also boasted about the number of men pursuing her, expressing gratitude for the attention.

After her advances were ignored on social media, she threatened to take her own life, giving Wizkid a seven-day ultimatum to reciprocate her attention.
