Wike Claims PDP Governors Submitted Ministerial Nominees to Tinubu

Former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has alleged that some governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who are now criticizing his involvement with the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government, submitted nominations to President Bola Tinubu for ministerial appointments.

Wike made this claim during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday, addressing accusations that he is a mole within the PDP while collaborating with the APC government.

In his defense, the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) challenged his critics, saying, “Who in the PDP didn’t try to nominate names for President Tinubu’s appointments? Yes, they did. Let them come forward and say they did not.”

Wike also recently warned that he would respond strongly if any PDP governor tries to interfere in his ongoing dispute with his former protégé, Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State.
