Comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun, popularly known as AY Comedian, has stirred the internet with reflections on his humble beginnings.

As he gears up for his live show, the comedian and actor shared a poignant photo on his Instagram page of a woman with a large backside carrying something on her head while strapping her shoeless son to her hip.

AY Makun commented on the shoeless boy, recalling how he was once in the same situation as a child. The father of two girls noted that he had seen the photo many times, but the image of the child without shoes always brings him back to his humble start.

He also asked his fans if anyone was without a beginning.

He wrote, “I have watched this picture several times and I will watch it again and again because anytime I see a child without shoes, I remember my humble beginning. We all have our beginnings, don’t we?
