Super Eagles: Nigeria, three others fight for Herve Renard

Nigeria will battle it out with three other countries for the services of Herve Renard.

Renard is still the head coach of the France Women’s team, but is set to leave.

It is expected that the Frenchman will leave his role with Les Bleues at the end of the Olympics.

“It’s a difficult job. If I had to be brief, I have in the back of my mind the 2026 World Cup in men’s football, I hope that it will be my third World Cup at the head of a men’s team.

These are my personal motivations,” said Renard. It is clear that the Frenchman is therefore looking to take charge of another men’s national team in the near future.

He won’t be short of suitors, according to L’Équipe. The former Zambia and Ivory Coast manager is reportedly a target for Poland, South Korea, Cameroon, Nigeria and even Morocco, in the event that Walid Regragui leaves his post.
