Singer Spyro Hints at Relationship with Nengi as They Rock Matching Outfits
Fast-rising Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has sparked relationship rumors with Big Brother Naija season 5 finalist, Rebecca Nengi Hampson, simply known as Nengi.
Spyro took to Instagram to share matching photos of himself and Nengi, both dressed in black outfits and holding white cups. Nengi had earlier shared similar photos on her Instagram, captioning them with, “New personality unlocked.” While it’s unclear if this new identity involves a relationship with Spyro, the singer hinted at the possibility.
Spyro noted the uncanny coincidence of their matching outfits and accessories, suggesting it might be a sign they should be together. He humorously pleaded with the Holy Spirit for guidance regarding his crush on Nengi.
“Of all days, Nengi chose to wear black, hold a white cup, carry a black bag, and snap on a brown flooring with a flower tree in the background… the same day I happen to be doing the same things. Holy Spirit, help me here—is this a sign? SPEAK TO ME LORD, I WILL OBEY.”

Just a few days ago, Spyro opened up about his crush on Nengi and explained why he would never want to be alone in the same room with the reality show finalist.
During an interview discussing which female celebrity he wouldn’t want to be left alone with, Spyro mentioned Nengi, saying he wouldn’t want her to be used as bait for him.
Ironically, Spyro encountered Nengi at a show where she sat right opposite him. The singer humorously shared that he kept rebuking the devil to leave him until he eventually fled the scene.
