Ronaldo Breaks Saudi Pro League Record for Most Goals in a Single Season

Cristiano Ronaldo has broken Abderrazak Hamdallah’s record for most goals scored in a single Saudi Pro League season.

Hamdallah’s record stood at 34, which Ronaldo surpassed with his brace against Al Ittihad on Monday, bringing his tally to 35 for the season.

The 39-year-old Portuguese forward achieved this milestone in his second season at the Saudi club, having moved from Manchester United in January 2023.

Although Al Hilal clinched the SPL title with three games remaining, Ronaldo and his team will have one last opportunity for silverware when they face Al Hilal in the King Cup of Champions final.
