Outrage Erupts as Pastor Adeboye Urges Nigerians to Turn to God Amid Economic Hardship

Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the popular Nigerian clergyman and founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has sparked backlash after urging Nigerians facing economic hardship to call on God.

During the June Thanksgiving service held at RCCG headquarters in Ebute-Metta on Sunday, June 2nd, themed ‘Lifter Up of My Head,’ Adeboye addressed the congregation.

He stated that those in need of provision or experiencing tough times should call on Jehovah El-Shaddai. Emphasizing that God is more than enough, he assured that He would meet their needs.

Adeboye said, “If you need provision, if things are hard, and I know things are hard for quite a few of us, call on the one whose name is Jehovah El-Shaddai, the God who is more than enough. Call on Him – the one who is more than enough, and He will meet your needs…He has many ways, depending on what your needs are.”
