Jaywon Advises Burna Boy, Implies Eedris Abdulkareem’s Arrogance Affected Recognition in Music Industry
Nigerian singer, Jaywon has weighed into the online spat between legendary rapper and singer, Eedris Abdulkareem and Burna Boy.
We reported that Eedris had spoken out about the music industry and Burna Boy, in an excerpt from an unpublished edition of the famous podcast The Honest Bunch.
The singer had slammed Burna Boy over a statement he made years back, claiming that none of his senior colleagues had prepared him for success.
According to Burna, no one in the Nigerian music business has ever done anything for him since musicians were too busy doing things for themselves or criticizing othersâ achievements.
Eedris described his statement as a stup!d talk and Burna Boy hit back at him, blaming the people who donated money for his hospital bills last year. He added that he wished the singer was someone who can enter the kind of places, he enters so they can meet.
Replying him in a now-deleted post on his Instagram story, Eedris agreed that the money contributed by Nigerians helped save his life, but he doubts any contribution can save Burna Boyâs sperm from reproducing.
Now weighing into it, Jaywon stated that Eedris made a lot of contributions to the industry which he wasnât applauded for because of his industry. He stated that he sees the same in Burna Boy as he noted how what goes around comes around.
He added that at the end of the day, everyone would collect and itâs just time.
âEedris had contributed a lot to the Nigerian music industry, was he applauded for that, NO and it was all because of his arrogant behavior and thatâs exactly what Burna too is doing so when I say âwhat goes around comes around â is actually for the both of them! Las las everybody go collect.
Na just time!!! Ire oooâ.
