I will deal with you – Osupa tells Portable, Taye Currency for insulting him

Renowned Fuji musician Saheed Osupa has declared his intention to respond to controversial singer Portable and fellow Fuji artist Taye Currency, despite Portable’s public apology.

Recall that about a week ago, Portable had taken to social media to call out Osupa for allegedly taking down his song from streaming platforms over copyright infringement.

In a viral video, Portable labeled Osupa “big for nothing” for reporting his song on Spotify and Apple Music. However, after facing backlash, Portable bowed to pressure and publicly apologized to Osupa.

Similarly, Fuji star Taye Currency stirred controversy when, during his reunion with Pasuma, he referred to Osupa as his “colleague”—a remark that didn’t sit well with Osupa’s fans.

Reacting to both incidents during a recent live performance, Osupa sent a strong warning:

“You will still be dealt with because you think you can come for an elder. I am coming for you.”

As the crowd chanted Portable’s name, Osupa added in Yoruba:

“Ati colleague mi, má wò rí. Mo n bò.” (“And my colleague, don’t worry, I’m coming for you”).
