Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has opened up on why he dissed President Bola Tinubu in his song ‘Vex.’
Speaking on Thursday, the rapper stated that his decision to criticize the President stemmed from his loyalty to the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Odumodublvck also revealed that the diss track has brought him backlash, leading him to call on Obi to promote his upcoming album, ‘The Machine Is Coming,’ as a way to revive their connection.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, he wrote:
“Peter Obi, I even dissed Tinubu for you. Now, because of you, the people are spitting on me and my legacy.
Tweet The Machine Is Coming to rekindle and redeem our friendship, sir.
Do not listen to them. Listen to your heart.
The Machine Is Coming.”
As of now, Peter Obi has not responded to the rapper’s request.
