Bobrisky Makes Charitable Donation of Chairs to Kirikiri Prison
In a surprising turn of events, Okuneye Idris, widely known as BobRisky, has made a charitable donation of chairs to Kirikiri Prison.
A photo circulating on social media shows rows of chairs at the correctional facility, with a label attributing the donation to “Idris Okuneye BobRisky.”
Accompanying the images is a caption stating, “On behalf of BobRisky, for the Nigerian Correctional Service, Kirikiri, for the visiting area.”
It’s worth noting that Bobrisky recently made headlines when he was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment without the option of a fine by the Justice of the Federal High Court in Lagos on April 12, 2024. This followed his arrest by the EFCC earlier in April for currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira, to which he pleaded guilty and was subsequently detained.
Additionally, just four days ago, reports emerged that BobRisky had been transferred from Ikoyi Correctional Center to Kirikiri Prison by the Nigerian Correctional Service as part of standard procedure, citing Kirikiri’s larger capacity and enhanced security measures.
