Peseiro is believed to have already received an offer from the Algeria Federation.
The 63-year-old has asked for time to decide on his future.
Peseiro is also waiting for a new offer from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) following the expiration of his contract.
The gaffer guided the Super Eagles to a second-place finish at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nation.
According to French publication, L’ Equipe, the new president of the Algeria Football Federation, Walid Sadi will decide on the appointment of a new coach for the Desert Foxes this week.
Aside Peseiro, former Switzerland manager, Vladimir Petkovic has also received an offer from FAF.
