Unspecified number of people have been injured as a result of a suspected explosion that occurred in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
We reports that no fever than 20 houses have been destroyed as a result of the explosion that occured at Bodija Housing Estate in Ibadan on Tuesday.
A source hinted that those who were injured have been rushed to hospital.
An eyewitness, Mr Bode, who visited the area few minutes after the incident, narrated that more than 20 houses were badly affected.
“I have counted at least 20 houses that were affected by the explosion,” he said.
As of the time of filing this report, the street where the explosion occurred has been cordoned-off by security agents.
