El Clasico: Ancelotti explains why Barcelona defeated Real Madrid, reveals area to improve

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has explained why Barcelona defeated his team 4-3 in the LaLiga El Clasico on Sunday.
Ancelotti also revealed that the Los Blancos need to improve in their defence as they made costly mistakes against Hansi Flickâs side.
Recall that Kylian Mbappe scored a 14-minute brace as Real Madrid stormed to an early 2-0 lead to silence Barcelona fans at Camp Nou.
But the hosts responded emphatically a few minutes later as Eric Garcia and Yamal both scored before Raphinhaâs brace gave the hosts a 4-2 win at half time.
Mbappe then completed his hat-trick in the second half as the match ended in a 4-3 victory in favour of Barcelona.
Facing the media after Madridâs defeat to Barca, Ancelotti said: âWe made some glaring mistakes that cost us several goals.
âIn high-level matches against top opponents, you need to be on top of your game.
âWe played well in attack but itâs clear we can improve a great deal on defence,â he said.
When asked about the possibility of Madrid finishing the season trophyless, Ancelotti replied: âEveryone can make whatever assessment they want.
âWe have to finish the season well and try to win the three remaining games.â
The result leaves Real Madrid with seven points behind leaders, Barcelona on the LaLiga table.
