Patience Umeh reveals Chioma Chukwuka rejects kissing and romantic roles

Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Umeh has revealed that her colleague, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, avoids kissing and romantic roles in movies.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Where Is The Lie podcast, Umeh linked Chioma’s stance to her strict Catholic background.

“Chioma Chukwuka was brought up in a very Catholic home. She doesn’t accept kissing or romantic roles in movies. I’m saying this out of experience. She was a legionary. She has been a good girl,” Umeh said.

However, contrary to her claims, Chioma has featured in several romantic roles over the years. In the Nollywood film Seven Doors, she even shared an on-screen kiss with actor Femi Adebayo, showing that her film choices are not entirely limited to non-romantic roles.
