Former Super Eagles assistant coach, Simon Kalika has said Eric Chelle must adopt the right tactics for his side to beat Gabon.
Nigeria will take on their fellow West Africans in the semi-final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs in Rabat on Thursday (today).
Kalika claimed the Super Eagles have the quality to beat Thierry Mouyouma’s side.
The Dutchman stated that the Panthers won’t he able to match the Super Eagles if Chelle adopts the right tactical approach.
“I know the players want to go to the World Cup. Nigeria has the quality and the potential. If the Federation (NFF) and the manager get their acts together, I believe the Super Eagles can beat Gabon 4-0 or 5-0,” Kalika told Completesports.com.
The game will kick-off at 5pm Nigerian time.
