comedian Layi Wasabi has won the Best Content Creator award at the AMVCA 2024.
This is a congratulation that netizens believe is well-deserved as they trooped to the comment section to congratulate him. However, some other netizens expressed their opinion by stating that they thought he was undeserving of the award.
One Kingsley had this to say,
“No offense, but this guy is not funny at all. Why is everybody hyping him?“
However, a netizen known as Flower Girl concurred with his award as she expressed,
“You don’t need him to talk before you laugh. Just imagine his quotes are being asserted. He is really funny. This is so well deserved.”
Back in April, Kemi Filani had reported that skit maker Layi had shared some insights on how he got into his famous suits which he uses in a lot of his videos.
He revealed that he had inherited the suits from his grandfather, including the shoes which he wears in his skits.
Layi also expressed that one day he was emerging through his grandfather’s veins when he discovered the suits. He also stated that the suit was older than him and that he has five more of them in his possession.
