“I Never Say Never” — Ronaldo Doesn’t Rule Out Baby Number Five, and Georgina’s Already Got the Timeline Planned

Barely days into married life, and Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez are already fielding “so, more kids?” questions and neither of them shut the door on it. In a new Vogue interview, asked about the possibility of more kids, Cristiano simply said: “I never say never.”

Georgina’s Already Got a Plan

While Ronaldo kept his answer short and classic, Georgina went into actual scheduling mode. “Another baby now would be overbooking at home,” she said. “But when the youngest are 15 or 16, we’ll still be young, so why not?” She added, “It’s true that I can’t imagine myself without small children, so we’ll see.”

For context on why “overbooking” is the right word: the couple currently raise Cristiano Jr. (16), twins Eva and Mateo (9), Alana (8), and four-year-old Bella together five children spanning a wide age range, all under one very busy roof. Adding a newborn to that mix right now would indeed be a scheduling miracle.

The Bigger Picture Behind the Comment

This interview landed at a genuinely significant moment for the couple. Ronaldo and Georgina recently opted for an intimate wedding ceremony at home with their children present, choosing to celebrate with family and friends in a big wedding at a later date. The pair, who first met in 2016 at a Gucci store in Madrid, wore Gucci for the ceremony, with the brand’s artistic director describing it as a romantic circle closing, like a modern fairy tale. There was no honeymoon immediately after, since Ronaldo was due back in Riyadh for the new Al Nassr season.

The family conversation ties into something bigger Ronaldo touched on around the same time too he mentioned he’ll “probably” retire when his current Al Nassr contract expires in June, suggesting the couple may genuinely be thinking ahead toward what their family and daily life could look like once football stops dominating the calendar.

Why This Family Conversation Feels Different

Georgina and Ronaldo’s journey to this point hasn’t been without real heartbreak. The couple lost a baby boy during the birth of twins in April 2022, with Bella Esmeralda surviving as his twin sister. Georgina has since described it as “the worst moment of her life,” and their openness in discussing family, loss, and hope for more children over the years has clearly shaped how deliberately they now talk about expanding their family further.

Wahala Network Take

“I never say never” might be the most Ronaldo answer possible confident, noncommittal, but leaving the door wide open. Whether baby number five actually shows up in a decade’s time is anyone’s guess, but one thing’s clear: neither of them is ruling it out.
