“If The Two Of You Can Destroy My Career, Then I Never Had One”: Blaqbonez Speaks Out Amid Ongoing Feud With Odumodublvck
Blaqbonez has broken his social media silence with a series of defiant posts, responding to the sexual abuse accusations levelled against him by fellow rapper Odumodublvck a dispute that’s now moved well beyond typical hip-hop beef and into active litigation.
What Blaqbonez Actually Said
In a series of posts on X, Blaqbonez pushed back hard against the ongoing allegations, writing that if the two people targeting him could actually destroy his career, then he never truly had one in the first place. He went further, describing the situation as being done specifically for victims of false accusations, arguing that sexual abuse claims were being weaponised to try to destroy both his career and the people around him calling it manipulation of the highest order if it wasn’t. He closed defiantly, insisting that all the effort against him had only made him bigger, that he’s at the best point of his career, currently flexing his biggest song ever, eight years into his journey.
The Serious Allegations Behind This
We want to be careful and precise here, because what’s being discussed is genuinely serious. The dispute traces back to a petition filed roughly eight months ago by a woman identified as Jane Doe, accusing Blaqbonez of harassment, bullying, invasion of privacy, and sharing her unauthorised private videos. That petition reportedly led to a 2025 police case that, according to reporting, resulted in no formal charges.
In late June 2026, Odumodublvck escalated the situation dramatically, publicly and repeatedly accusing Blaqbonez of sexual abuse on X, and alleging that prominent figures within the Nigerian music industry including specific named individuals and Blaqbonez’s own label, Chocolate City were actively covering up the claims. He alleged that Blaqbonez had been detained by police over the matter and pressured to apologise, and separately claimed a settlement was negotiated down from an initial ₦15 million demand to ₦2 million, allegedly paid directly by Blaqbonez to the accuser.
Blaqbonez has firmly and consistently denied all of it. Speaking in a recent interview, he explained that the entire feud actually stems from both men having dated the same woman, non-exclusively, starting in 2023, with tensions escalating after he discovered she was also involved with Odumodublvck, leading him to cut ties with both of them following a heated three-way phone call in November 2024. He’s maintained the sexual abuse label is a fabrication tied to that fallout, rather than anything factual.
It’s Now A Full-Blown Legal Battle
This is no longer just a social media dispute. On July 7, 2026, Blaqbonez filed a ₦2.55 billion defamation lawsuit against Odumodublvck through Lagos law firm Punuka Attorneys and Solicitors, seeking damages, deletion of the posts, a public apology, and a court order preventing further similar statements. Odumodublvck responded almost immediately and unapologetically, posting: “I STAND ON IT. YOU ARE A SEXUAL ABUSER. YOU DID IT” — making clear he had no intention of backing down or retracting anything.
Blaqbonez has since publicly stated he intends to let the courts settle the matter definitively, saying directly that being called a sexual abuser isn’t a label he’ll simply joke about or ignore, and that he wants Odumodublvck to prove the claim in court rather than continue making it on social media.
Important Context: Nothing Has Been Proven Either Way
At this stage, it’s critical to note that none of these serious allegations have been established or proven in any court, and no criminal charges are known to have resulted from the original 2025 police petition. Odumodublvck has made his accusations without presenting public evidence, while Blaqbonez has denied all wrongdoing and is now pursuing his own legal action to clear his name. This remains an active, unresolved legal matter.
Wahala Network Take
What started as rap rivalry chatter has turned into a ₦2.55 billion courtroom battle over allegations serious enough to genuinely define a person’s public legacy either way. Blaqbonez clearly isn’t backing down, and neither is Odumodublvck which means this one likely won’t be settled by tweets, but by whatever comes out of the actual legal process. Given the seriousness involved, that’s probably exactly where it belongs.
